Dragons of the Planes

Dragons were not created. They condensed. When the Ur-Resonance shattered and the planes crystallized, the excess energy coalesced into the largest, most complex living vessels that matter could produce. They are the Ur-Resonance made flesh, and they know it.

Chromatic Dragons

Carriers of the Disruption and Diminishment Frequencies — Chaos and Death made flesh. Territorial, aggressive, and fundamentally incompatible with patient negotiation. They do not consider themselves evil. They consider themselves honest.

Metallic Dragons

Shaped by the Equilibrium and Proliferation Frequencies — Life and Order. Metallic dragons are the great negotiators, the keepers of treaties and the arbiters of disputes that would otherwise end in planar war. Their patience is genuine. Their memory is absolute.

Planar Dragons

Born from the deep strata of individual planes, Planar dragons are living expressions of a single Frequency pushed to its extreme. They are rarer than Chromatics or Metallics, more powerful, and considerably less interested in the affairs of civilizations.
